Fauci’s “Trusted Messengers”

In a recent interview, Anthony Fauci was discussing the proposal/plan by the Biden administration to send people door-to-door to spread the good word about vackseens.

Here’s what he said: “The big misinterpretation that Fox News or whomever else is saying is that they are essentially envisioning a bunch of federal workers knocking on your door, telling you you’ve got to do something that you don’t want to do. That’s absolutely not the case, it’s trusted messengers who are part of the community doing that — not government officials. So that’s where I think the disconnect is.”

OK Tony.  Let me fill you in on a little secret.  If these “trusted messengers” are being paid by the Federal Government to knock on my door, then they are, indeed, “federal workers”.  In fact, being employed by the federal government is the very definition of a “federal worker”.

You can call them “trusted messengers” or “comrades” or dress it up any other way you want.  But no matter how much lipstick you put on that pig, it’s still a pig.

If I’ve got this straight, what you’re proposing is that I open my door to a stranger. OK.  Let’s pretend for a minute that I’m willing to do that.   What’s the first thing they’re going to do?  They’re going to ask me my vacksination status.  I tell you what, I’m not the least bit inclined to discuss my personal medical information with a part-time government worker…oops…I mean “trusted messenger”.

At a time where businesses are struggling to find people to fill their shifts, you want me to discuss personal information with someone who’s only qualified for a government job?  Please.  If these people aren’t skilled enough to flip burgers, they’re certainly not qualified to talk to me about whatever nonsense you want me to believe.

And another thing…who gets to decide if these people are to be trusted?  Is that your call?  Your recommendation only goes as far as I trust you and, I don’t trust you even a little bit.

See Tony, you don’t get to decide who I trust.  Only I get to do that.  And I’m not going to consider anyone to be trustworthy who drops by my house to tell me things that you’ve told them to say.

<whew> I guess I’ll stop talking to Tony now. He’s probably not listening anyway.

Eventually these trusted messengers will be coming to see me.  My first thought was that I’d simply tell them that my vacksination status is none of their damn business and close the door in their face.  But that would be rude.  And my momma didn’t raise me to be rude to strangers.

So, here’s my plan.  When Fauci’s almost-certainly-masked minions come to my door, I’m going to invite them to sit with me on the porch.  Then, I’m going to waste their time.  I’m going to see how long I can get them to talk to me before they get frustrated and leave.  I figure I can get 30 minutes or so of entertainment value from the experience.

Now, Anthony Fauci may be dumb but he’s not stupid.  He’s got everyone concerned about the messenger when we should be focusing on the message.

Fauci has been giving interviews for decades.  I think we can safely assume that he’s capable of saying exactly what he means.  What exactly did he say?  He said, “…it’s the trusted messengers who are part of the community doing that.”  I think it’s important that we look at what “that” is.

He didn’t say that the trusted messengers would be educating us or making sure we’re well-informed about the risks of both the disease and the vackseens.  He didn’t say that his employees-that-aren’t-federal-employees would be ready and able to discuss the number of deaths and the ever-growing list of serious side effects associated with their experimental drugs.

No, he said that they’d be, “..telling you you’ve got to do something that you don’t want to do.”  That’s what “that” is. In essence, what he said was that the government would be sending people to our homes to tell us we have no choice but to allow ourselves to be injected.

These aren’t my words, they’re Tony Fauci’s.  I’m merely making it easier for everyone to see what he actually said.  The “disconnect” that he mentioned isn’t with who is sending the message, it’s with the message that they’re sending.

So if you don’t like what he said, don’t blame me.  I’m just the messenger.
